Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth on October 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM via video conferencing. As part of the Rozgar Mela, the Prime Minister will also address the gathering, reaffirming his government’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation and empowering the nation’s youth.
The Rozgar Mela, which has become a cornerstone of the government’s drive towards employment creation, aims to provide meaningful opportunities for young Indians to contribute to nation-building. The event will be organized at 40 locations nationwide, with newly recruited candidates joining various Central Government Ministries and Departments, including the Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and others.
To ensure recruits are fully prepared for their roles, they will have access to foundational training through the ‘Karmayogi Prarambh’ online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. The platform offers over 1,400 e-learning courses, designed to equip the recruits with essential skills and knowledge, aligning with the government’s vision of building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
