Senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh assumed the charge of the Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, Government of Odisha on Monday. Singh was greeted by senior officials from the Department, including Director Indramani Tripathy, Director (Technical) Surendra Nath Parida, and Joint Secretary Bishnupriya Sahu.
Following a ceremonial welcome, Singh met with senior officials for a brief discussion to review various elements of the Department’s operations. Singh emphasised the importance of a flawless live telecast of the Rath Yatra across all devotional TV networks in India. Furthermore, he stated that believers throughout the country should be aware of the major event’s timetable.
Tripathy informed Singh of the Department’s efforts to ensure a smooth transition.
