SCOPE and ICAI Sign MoU to Boost Capacity Development Under Scope Framework

Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing professional development, policy advocacy, and thought leadership.

This strategic collaboration marks a renewed commitment to fostering capacity building, knowledge sharing, and empowering professionals in the areas of finance, accounting, and corporate governance. The partnership is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping future-ready financial leaders while contributing meaningfully to India’s evolving economic landscape.

Through joint initiatives, training programs, and research-driven engagements, the MoU is expected to open new avenues for innovation, best practices, and policy formulation across public sector enterprises and the broader corporate sector.

The MoU was formally signed by Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, and CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI. The signing ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of CA Prasanna Kumar D., Vice President, ICAI; CA Rajesh Sharma, Vice Chairman, Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B), ICAI; Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal, Member, Executive Board, SCOPE and Director (Finance), ITDC; and CA (Dr.) Jai Kumar Batra, Secretary, ICAI, along with other senior officials from both organizations.
