The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has extended the deadline for participation in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz 2026 to October 31, following overwhelming interest from youth across the country. Over 20 lakh participants have already taken part in the online quiz.
Conducted via the MY Bharat portal and mobile application, the VBYLD Quiz 2026 forms the first phase of a national youth dialogue aimed at gathering ideas and perspectives for a developed India by 2047. All participants will receive digital certificates, while the top 10,000 scorers will receive MY Bharat merchandise and qualify for the next stage of the competition.
To ensure wide accessibility, the quiz is available at more than five lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs), where Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) are assisting rural youth. The MY Bharat app, available on Android and iOS, allows one-click participation from anywhere.
Selected participants will represent their states and union territories at VBYLD 2026 in New Delhi in January next year. The national programme will feature cultural and innovation showcases, solution-oriented challenges on governance, education, climate and digital inclusion, and a hackathon addressing social issues through technology. A special track will focus on design thinking to solve developmental challenges.
The event will also host 100 youth from abroad, including 80 participants from the Ministry of External Affairs’ Know India Programme and a 20-member delegation from BIMSTEC countries, highlighting India’s efforts to foster global collaboration among young leaders.
The Ministry urges all eligible youth to register on the MY Bharat portal before October 31 and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
