WhatsApp, a messaging platform owned by Meta, is set to introduce a new feature called “community examples” in its iOS beta version. This feature aims to assist beta users in creating communities on WhatsApp by offering instructional examples. The inclusion of these examples will enhance the professional, engaging, and informative nature of the platform.
When users utilize the shortcut, they will be directed to an official FAQ that provides comprehensive instructions and valuable tips on how to create a community, incorporate groups into communities, and effectively engage with community members through special announcement groups. This feature endeavors to inspire and empower more users to establish vibrant and thriving communities within the platform.
The community examples feature is currently being introduced to a selected group of beta testers who update their WhatsApp beta for iOS through the TestFlight app. In the following days, the roll-out will gradually expand to include more users in the community.
In addition to this, WhatsApp has recently introduced animated avatars to its iOS beta version. These avatars can now be easily shared with anyone, regardless of whether they are using the beta version of the app. The aim of this feature is to enhance the communication experience by adding more personality and vitality to stickers.
Another recent feature available in WhatsApp’s iOS beta version enables users to send high-quality videos. While some compression is applied to maintain video dimensions, it is currently not possible to send videos in their original quality. The default setting remains “Standard quality,” requiring users to manually select the high-quality option whenever they wish to send a better-quality video.
These ongoing updates and additions demonstrate WhatsApp’s strong commitment to enhancing user experience and expanding its range of features on its beta platform.
