7 IAS Officers transferred in Rajasthan in a bureaucratic reshuffle

The Rajasthan Government on Sunday reassigned 7 IAS officers and gave an additional charge to one in a significant bureaucratic reorganisation. The chairman of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, senior IAS officer Sudhansh Pant, was named as the director general of the HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) and ex-officio additional chief secretary (ACS), education.

IAS Officer Krishna Kant Pathak, who held the position of secretary in the department of rural development, was promoted to the finance (revenue) department and given the same title. Manju Rajpal will now hold the position of secretary for the rural development department in addition to her current duties as state mission director, director of livelihood initiatives, and head of a self-help group. T. Ravikant previously held the position of chairman of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board.

Joga Ram was chosen to lead the Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) while continuing in his role as secretary of local self-government. The RUIDP’s former project director, Kumar Pal Gautam, has been chosen to lead the excise department as commissioner. Former Devasthan Department commissioner Karan Singh was appointed special secretary of the Higher Education Department.
