The Gujarat Government has transferred two senior IAS officers and designated them with new roles in the state administration.
Mona Khandhar, 1996 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Science and Technology Department. She was previously posted as the Principal Secretary of the Panchayats, Rural Housing, and Rural Development Department.
She was already holding additional charge of the Science and Technology Department.
Manisha Chandra, 2004 batch IAS officer, has been designated as the Secretary of the Panchayats, Rural Housing, and Rural Development Department. Chandra, replacing Mona Khandar in this role, will continue to hold her current charge as a Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary of the Rural Development Department.
