Lucknow University committee to finalise NEP structure for post-graduate course

Lucknow University will implement New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at the postgraduate level. The
university has formed a committee to finalize the structure of 1-year PG course to be offered once a
student completes the four-undergraduate course. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses
formed in accordance with New Education Policy will be followed at Lucknow University and its
affiliated colleges.

Lucknow University -
Durgesh Srivastava, Lucknow University Spokesperson said, “We have already implemented NEP at
the undergraduate level in the academic session 2020-21. Now Lucknow University has formed a
committee of six members to finalize the structure of 1-year PG course and make in accordance with
NEP.”


The committee of six members comprises of Prof Rakesh Chandra (dean academics), Prof Poonam
Tandon (dean student welfare), Prof Rajeev Pandey (dean research), Prem Lata Suman (dean arts),
Prof Piyush Bhargava, and Prof Rachna Majju.
