The Haryana government has launched the “e-Adhigam” scheme under which tablets were distributed to government schools students of standard 10th and 12th. The state government has planned to distribute tablets to five lakh students.

As per reports, Haryana government schools students of 11th standard will get the tablets after they cleared the Class 10 board exams and qualify for the succeeding year. These gadgets have pre-loaded content along with personalized and adaptive learning software, and 2GB of free data.
During the launch of the Advance Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adaptive Modules (Adigham) scheme at Maharishi Dayanand University, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said, “From next year, all classes from 9-12 will be covered.”
He also added, “Tablets and data are tools for students which will help them acquire skills of the 21st century and open new opportunities. Through e-learning, students of Haryana will become global students.”
Khattar said, “With these tablets, we will not be limited to classroom teaching, but we will remain connected with the affairs of the world.”
