India’s first Electrical first responder vehicle launched by Puducherry Home Minister

A Namassivayam, Home Minister of Puducherry launched India’s first electrical first responder vehicle on Thursday at the EV Expo 2022 organized at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.

The Made in India vehicle is connected with the AmbulanceMe app developed by an Indo Australian JV between MedAchievers and Digitology Healthtech Australia. They work jointly to develop innovative tools for emergency care at the doorsteps of patients and ensure connectivity for critical care through the hospitals.

The electric vehicle responds through the AmbulanceMe app which is also connected with the emergency department of the respective hospital sending the experts team. The app can track the response team in real-time for better coordination and the emergency console at the hospital end provides the condition of the patient with a live remote monitor and an integrate cameral for emergency management.

During the launch, Namassivayam said, “The innovative product will help to address healthcare issues and make the reach mush faster. Moreover, it will reduce the number of deaths due to lag in healthcare provisioning in serious conditions like heart attack and trauma. This technology of telemedicine shall help in emergency management. ”
