With the aim of fostering Skill Education, Assessment, and teacher capacity building, CBSE has forged partnerships with 15 different Institutes. The NEP places great emphasis on establishing stronger ties between academia and industry. It is crucial for the curriculum to be aligned with industry requirements, while also providing opportunities for internships and apprenticeships to expose students to the workings of various industries.
To ensure students acquire a wide range of expertise and have access to high-quality infrastructure and exposure to emerging technologies, 12 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) have been signed with Sector Skill Providers. These include Atal Innovation Mission, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Apparel Made-ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council, Automotive Sector Skill Council, Sports, Physical Education, Fitness and Leisure Skills Council, Logistics Sector Skill Council, Furniture, and Fittings Sector Skill Council, Life Sciences Sector Skill Council Textiles Sector Skill Council, and Healthcare Sector Skill Council. This helps provide students with a diverse set of skills and knowledge in a professional, engaging, and informative manner.
It is of equal importance to enhance the capacity of teachers in order to achieve desired outcomes. With these initiatives, CBSE has developed strategic partnerships for the enhancement of skills, education, and training. These Sector Skill Councils will further facilitate the creation of skill modules and study materials for different levels of skill subjects, as well as the organization of competitions and Hackathons for students. Additionally, they will contribute to the training of teachers.
