IPoS Arkaja Das Appointed as Director in Ministry of Women & Child Development

The Central Government has recently approved the appointment of IPoS Arkaja Das as Director within the esteemed Ministry of Women & Child Development. This pivotal decision was solidified through an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), marking Das’s inclusion under the Central Staffing Scheme effective from today, March 1, 2024.

The tenure of this appointment is set until October 26, 2027, or until any further directives are issued, whichever event occurs first

Arkaja Das, a distinguished 2010-batch Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer, currently serves as Deputy Secretary within the Ministry of Women & Child Development. With this new appointment, Das is poised to undertake a more substantial leadership role within the Ministry.
