The discussion centered around exploring collaborative opportunities to drive technological advancements across various sectors in Andhra Pradesh.

During the interaction, CM Naidu announced the exploration of setting up a YouTube Academy in Andhra Pradesh, aimed at fostering digital skills among the state’s youth. Additionally, the Chief Minister revealed plans for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) and Google, under the initiative ‘AI for Andhra Pradesh, Powered by Google.’ This comprehensive partnership is expected to leverage AI across critical areas such as agriculture, healthcare, sustainability, skill development, startup ecosystems, workforce enhancement, MSME growth, and governance.

Taking to social media, CM Naidu expressed his enthusiasm, stating, ‘I am delighted that we’re exploring setting up a YouTube Academy in Andhra Pradesh. We’re also looking forward to an MoU between the GoAP and Google under the initiative, ‘AI for Andhra Pradesh, Powered by Google.’ This collaboration will play a pivotal role in transforming Andhra Pradesh into India’s tech capital.’

The Chief Minister emphasized the transformative potential of AI, noting that while technology has rapidly evolved over the past two decades, AI represents the next frontier in driving socio-economic development. ‘As we embrace technology enthusiastically, we must also focus on its best potential application – solving our most pressing issues and bettering human lives. I firmly believe that the primary objective of technology ought to be to facilitate advancements in important socio-economic parameters,’ Naidu remarked.

The proposed collaboration aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s vision to become a leading technology hub in India, attracting global tech pioneers and fostering innovation within the state. CM Naidu reiterated his commitment to leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to address key challenges and improve the quality of life for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
