Aquaconnect raises Rs 60 crore funding from Trifecta Capital

Aquaconnect has announced that it has raised Rs 60 crore in a venture debt funding round organized by a venture debt firm Trifecta Capital.

Aquaconnect which is a full-stack aquaculture input and output platform intends to utilize the raised funds to strengthen its presence across the country by expanding its network of Aqua partners – franchise stores that facilitate the fish and shrimp farmers to get easy access to quality input products. Some crunch of the funds will be used to enhance the scale of operations and improve post-harvest market linkage solutions of the company. Boosting the market linkage will help the farmer to reach out to a broader range of potential buyers, hence increasing value realization.

Aquaconnect closely works with fish and shrimp farmers to increase farm productivity, financial assistance, and market linkage through intelligent technology solutions. The company is a platinum winner of the agriculture insuretech award by the World Bank group.
