The third ground-breaking ceremony in Uttar Pradesh will witness the launch of major projects, including the setting up of over 865 MSME units with an investment of Rs 3586 crore. The event is scheduled to be held on June 3, 2022, in the capital city of the state. These projects will play a vital role in making Uttar Pradesh a major economy and generating more employment opportunities.

An official spokesman said that nearly 1,500 projects worth Rs 75,000+ crore are planned to be launched in the third groundbreaking ceremony. Of this, Rs 3586 crore will be contributed to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. This alone will create about 48,766 employment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
Officials said that over 283 MSME units will be set up in Meerut with an investment of Rs 702 crore, which will create nearly 13,985 employment opportunities.
128 MSME units will be set in Ayodhya with an investment of Rs 915 crore, which will generate over 5991 employment opportunities.
During the ceremony, an array of prominent projects worth Rs 21,000 crore will be launched in the IT and electronics sector, textile, energy, food processing, tourism, and pharma sector.
Some major investors include a data center worth Rs 4,900 crore by Adani group, two data centres in Noida worth Rs 9,100 crore by Hiranandani groups, software centers worth Rs 2,100 crore from Microsoft, a cement manufacturing plant in Mirzapur worth Rs 600 crore by Dalmia Group, and Hindustan Unilever Limited’s detergent plant.
