RailTel, a leading provider of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) services, has secured a significant contract valued at ₹52.66 crore (excluding tax) from the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).
Under the agreement, RailTel will provide:
- Live CCTV surveillance services
- Impersonation control through Aadhaar-based biometric services
- Digital fingerprint and facial recognition during examination
- Document verification & physical standard test (DV&PST).
This integrated solution will ensure the authenticity and integrity of the examination process, preventing impersonation and maintaining the highest standards of transparency.
