K Chandrashekar Rao, the chief minister, officially opened “Police Towers,” a cutting-edge command and control centre that serves as the hub for operations and crisis management on 4th August 2022
Telangana’s IT Minister KT Rama Rao wrote on Twitter, “Truly world class, possibly one of the most sophisticated government facility developed by any govt in India.”

The 8.3-meter-tall Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TSPICCC) has a 480-seat auditorium, a media centre, training facilities, and conference halls spread out over 6.42 lakh square feet. It also has parking on 2.16 lakh square feet, solar panels, STP, a glass facade, and other features.
Tower B, a technology fusion centre, was built to collect data from various apps, emergency response systems like Dial 100, social media, and highways watch from all over the state so that there can be an integrated approach. Tower A, a 20-story building housing the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, is home to the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate.
An auditorium is located in Tower C, while a media and training centre will be located in Tower D. The fourth, fifth, and sixth levels of Tower E are home to an integrated multi-agency command centre.
The state home minister, state police commissioner, and other top officials all have their own chambers in the tower. The Chief Minister can manage emergency or catastrophe relief efforts from a war room on the seventh floor.
Despite having a designated floor on the fifth floor of the Command Control Centre for their use, traffic control officers will continue to operate from the police control room. The e-challan division and technical teams would be housed there.
The Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre is currently off-limits to anyone, including the media, though there are plans to open it up to the general public in the future since the Chief Minister hopes it would become a city icon.
The building will also include a helipad, which is a platform or location for helicopter landings, as well as powered lift aircraft for emergency operations.
Artificial intelligence, data analytics, and social media units all have their own area.
A total of 9.22 lakh cameras that have been put around the State will be connected to this centre, allowing the police to watch and examine about 1 lakh cameras at any given moment.
This structure, which is intended to house technology teams working in back-end operations to support field policing, will have a war room. Additionally, it will serve as a disaster and crisis management hub for all relevant government agencies.
Artificial intelligence, data analytics, and social media units all have their own area.
In the centre, there is no wooden furniture. The furniture was made entirely from recycled materials. A plantation has been given a 35% land allocation. The posh new structure also features a yoga studio, a gym, and a health centre.
The structure also features a 360-degree viewing gallery and a museum detailing the history of the Telangana Police.
The green building’s solar panels will produce 0.5 MegaWatts (MW), and recycled materials were used in its construction.
