Users can access this WiFi network by downloading an android-based mobile app named ‘Wi-DOT’ available on Google Play Store.
Addressing the event, Puneet Chawla said, “RailTel being the most widespread integrated WiFi network of the country supporting the largest footfall of Wi-Fi users is taking an anchor role in the entire PM-WANI eco-system.”
Commenting on the launch of the PM-WANI service, Rajkumar Upadhyay, the Executive Director and Chairman of C-DOT said that the synergistic engagement between C-DOT and RailTel will encourage innovation leading to the design, development, and deployment of advanced technologies in national networks including the Indian Railways.
